Frequently Asked Questions
Sign up for a plan via the "ASK” page. You and your broker will both be required to electronically sign a participation agreement before access is granted to the ASK tool. If you hold a Broker’s license, you’ll complete the Agent Access/Broker Participation Agreement as both the Agent and the Broker.
This ensures your broker is aware of your participation and understands the tool’s purpose.
If you’re a broker yourself, you’ll complete the agreement as both Agent and Broker—simple and seamless.
The ASK tool is available on a month-to-month basis with no long-term commitment. You can cancel anytime through your account dashboard.
Prefer a longer-term option? We also offer an annual plan at a discounted rate for agents who want uninterrupted support all year long.
ChatGPT is an impressive general AI tool. It can generate helpful real estate responses. But here’s the key difference:
The ASK tool isn’t general—it’s built specifically for California real estate.
Where ChatGPT might pull information from multiple states, outdated forms, or generic real estate practices, ASK is trained to respond based on California-specific disclosures, timelines, DRE guidance, and the contract scenarios agents actually face in this market. It’s also been carefully designed to avoid the legal risks that come with AI-generated content, especially when it comes to fair housing, fiduciary duty, and form interpretation.
In short:
ChatGPT is smart.
ASK is smart and specialized.
ASK is designed to support California real estate licensees with state-level guidance and general transaction literacy for 1–4 unit residential sales. It does not provide information on city or county-specific disclosures, such as local hazard zones, point-of-sale ordinances, or regional disclosure forms. Agents should always consult their supervising broker or local association to confirm any additional disclosures required in their area.
For privacy and compliance reasons, we ask that you do not enter any client names, personal information, or property addresses into the ASK tool.
ASK is designed to help you think through contract scenarios, timeline questions, communication tone, and transaction strategy—all without revealing sensitive details. Keeping it general protects your client and keeps your practice compliant.
We continually refine the ASK tool based on form changes, industry shifts, and compliance updates affecting California residential real estate.
In addition to content updates, the tool is reviewed weekly for performance, accuracy, and user experience to ensure it's running smoothly and staying aligned with the evolving needs of working licensees.
Access to the ASK tool is individual and secure. Each user will receive their own login and access code. For compliance and tracking purposes, shared logins aren’t permitted.
You can cancel anytime through your account dashboard or you can email our support team at support@yourpersonalbroker.com. Your access will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle.
